THE CONSCIOUS PRE-GAME

for fans

we empower concert-goers to feel connected in community and enter the night with more intention, presence, and inner awareness

THE CONSCIOUS PRE-GAME for fans provides space for show-goers to meet and connect with others in the scene on a deeper level before the show, as well as deepens the connection to the music and community during the show

cacao ceremony & meditation circle

designed to

deepen the live music expereince

“Not only did I feel a strong connection with the entire group attending that day, but I left the gathering feeling better than I have in a long time. My entire body and mind was simply uplifted by the event. My heart was truly open and radiant. Hours later, as the concert was about to begin, I still had the same uplifted, loving feeling throughout my being. I realized I didn’t want to change anything about the way I was feeling. I went to the show completely sober!”

- Scott Stevenson

“I have REALLY bad anxiety at times. The conscious pre-game seriously put me in the right headspace and helped my anxiety before the show. I kept looking at [my partner] and telling her, “I don’t feel anxious. I’m okay. I love this!”. Moving forward, I plan to have cacao before each show.”

- Spencer Beymer

WHAT'S THE POINT?

supports quality time with friends and others in the scene

eases “pre-show jitters”

why cacao?

an alternative way to pre-game: cacao produces heart-opening, energizing, playful, blissful, yet grounding and centering effects while keeping your mind clear

enhances ability to connect with others: cacao contains theobromine, a cardiovascular stimulant that opens the heart

eases "pre-show jitters": cacao contains magnesium (which reduces anxiety), anandamine ("the bliss molecule"), and precursors to dopamine and serotonin ("feel good" hormones)

helps you become present/immersed in the show: cacao contains phenethylamine (PEA), a neurochemical said to be released when you're so engrossed in a task that you lose track of time (or when you become lost in the music)
 â€‹
encourages inner awareness & inspires a sense of curiosity and wonder: cacao is a non-psychedelic plant medicine

Hours later, as the concert was about to begin, I still had the same uplifted, loving feeling throughout my being. I realized I didn’t want to change anything about the way I was feeling. I went to the show completely sober! This was honestly the first time I’d been to a concert without any substance or alcohol, and it was an amazing show and event. Mama Cacao came through on so many levels and I am forever touched by these wonderful gatherings."
