cacao jams: cotter & friends (goose)

Cacao Jams are intimate, in-person gatherings that blend ceremonial cacao, live local music, and genuine human connection.

Each jam will be hosted by Hannah & Kait and feature a local musician (or musicians) who will play throughout the experience.

The event will begin with a cacao ceremony and guided meditation designed to help you shift into a heart-opened, grounded, and present state. Cacao produces heart-opening, energizing, playful, blissful, yet grounding and centering effects, making it an ideal substance for enhancing the ability to connect with others and become immersed in live music.

The featured artist(s) will provide soft, ambient, soundscape music during the ceremony and meditation, letting their music build to become more prominent as the meditation ends and the space opens up for connection and hanging out.

This jam will feature Cotter Ellis (Goose) and Josh Dobbs (Cotter & Friends) on drums and keys.

No meditation or cacao experience is necessary.

Cushions and yoga props will be available for sitting on the ground.

It is easiest to connect with the spirit of cacao on an empty stomach and in the absence of other substances (caffeine, alcohol, marijuana, etc). All Cacao Jams will take place in the studio at Nurture in Denver, CO.
